Pakistan Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that the last train will leave for India late Friday. The official APP dialogue committee gave this information. The agency quoted the Railway Minister as saying, “Thar and Samjhauta Express services will be canceled while Railway Minister.”
It is noteworthy that both these train services were stopped after the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965, which was resumed in 2006.
